Rowan Technology is looking to add a talented and agile Developer to our growing team that builds innovative digital learning products for universities.
Primary responsibilities include design and implementation of cloud-based server applications, as well as planning for scaling for increased user activity. Secondary responsibilities include support for front end development. Including code review and intermittent development.
Candidates should have at least 3 years of professional experience working with cloud-based web applications. Management or leadership experience is preferable.
The developer will join a small, interdisciplinary team experienced in design, software development, publishing, cartography, and marketing. While all have their primary domains, the roles of each occasionally overlap to accomplish our ambitious aims.
BS/BA in Computer Science/Information Systems preferred. Coding bootcamp, or equivalent, will also be considered.
