Cash App is the fastest growing financial brand in the world. Initially built to take the pain out of peer-to-peer payments, Cash App has gone from a simple product with a single purpose to a dynamic app with over 24 million monthly active users. We are bringing a better way to send, spend, invest, and save to anyone who has ever sought an alternative to the traditional banking system.
Loved by customers and pop culture, we’ve consistently held the top spot for finance in the App Store for many years, seeing more engagement with millions of followers across social media in a day than most brands see in a year. We are building an ecosystem to redefine the world’s relationship with money by making it universally accessible.
We want to hire the best talent regardless of location. Our employment model is distributed, offering the opportunity to collaborate with teams across the world in San Francisco, New York, St. Louis, Portland, Toronto, Kitchener-Waterloo, Sydney, and Melbourne.
As part of the iOS engineering team for Cash, you’ll develop new customer-facing features and enhance our existing ones to scale. We’re developing industry-leading design systems and adding exciting new functionality to our ecosystem. Currently, we’re focusing on the Cash Card (and Boost rewards), improved banking functionality, international expansion, in-app support, and extending our investing/Bitcoin feature in exciting new directions, and making stock investing more accessible to all. Additionally, technology from Cash App now powers Square Payroll, Square Card, and other integrations.
We want you to help us take WordPress, Simplenote, and other native apps for Android and iOS to the next level. As a software engineer for the Incubation team at StubHub, you will be responsible for building and launching products and features that meaningfully move the needle on StubHub’s growth. You’ll get to move quickly, iterate via experimentation, and work autonomously while making an impact at massive scale. While working with members of the core Incubation team, you will frequently be embedded with the teams from various product areas to accelerate the development of the products and features we’re incubating.
The ideal candidate is someone who’s product driven. While you care deeply about crafting clean, extensible code or are an advocate for test driven development, it’s all in service of creating software that people use. In the end what matters to you most is working with a strong team to build great software that delights customers.
The candidates we’re looking for are both humble and fearless. Engineers on this team will need to work across multiple product areas. You will frequently not be the expert in the area in which you’re working. You’ll need to take the input from those more knowledgeable than you in these areas and use it to create the products and features whose requirements you’ll be closest to.
Are you interested in joining an ambitious and close-knit team dedicated to solving meaningful customer problems? Your work will have a significant impact on the business, and help spread the joy of concerts, theater, and sports around the world. We love creating opportunities for others by connecting people from widely diverse backgrounds, perspectives, and geographies. So, being diverse and inclusive isn’t just something we strive for, it is who we are, and part of what we do each and every single day. We want to ensure that as an employee, you feel eBay is a place where, no matter who you are, you feel safe, included, and that you have the opportunity to bring your unique self to work. "We’re a team of two, Looking for someone who could be a good like-minded addition to our team. If you’re a developer with strong iOS / macOS dev skills and have some marketing and/or product design experience – we would love to hear from you.
Tasks in our team vary a lot, this is not your regular Software Developer job at all (as far as we know, since we’ve never had that job).
Both of us do back-end and frontend dev, product design, marketing and customer support (not gonna ask you to do the latter!). Interesting problems and tasks arise all the time. We work only on our own products and are trying to experiment a lot.
We want to start working with you remotely to see if we get along, and then we’d love you to join us in beautiful Berlin if you want. It’s great if you already live there, but that won’t be a factor in our decision making."
