No CS OK is the first jobs board made for software developers without degrees. Given the increasing numbers of developers who are either purely self-taught or who have attended bootcamps, the traditional approach of relying on candidates with 4 year degrees is not sustainable. By either consciously or unconsciously failing to attract developers that are extremely motivated and who have either taught themselves or learning programming at a bootcamp, you are harming your company by missing out on their skills. Coding bootcamps across America are producing developers who are working in the top tech companies in the world. Now it's time for you to grab some of this talent.
When you advertise a job here it will also be highlighted in the weekly newsletter that goes out to over 2,600 developers and is growing rapidly.
Who makes this?
My name is Pete and I am a self-taught web developer. I recently released a blog, No CS Degree where I interview developers who have either taught themselves to code or have gone to bootcamps. I have started to look for jobs and it can be frustrating to find at the very end of a job advert that a company requires a Computer Science degree. That's why I made this website. I've also interviewed developers with 13 years of experience being denied jobs simply because they don't have a degree so the job board is for both junior and senior developers.
If you have any queries or need any help with your job advert I will deal with it personally. You can contact me on Twitter or email me firstname.lastname@example.org
