Front End Developer

We’re looking for a Front End Developer to join our team. More specifically, we’re looking for someone who is comfortable taking design mockups and replicating them with code. Often, this code is in the form of a custom WordPress theme.

Job Description

We are looking for a passionate front end developer in the UK(we are not accepting international applicants at this time) who is proficient with React.js. Your primary focus will be on developing user interface components and implementing them following well-known React.js workflows. You will ensure that these components and the overall application are robust and easy to maintain.

You will be responsible for building front end interfaces from provided designs in a well structured & responsive manner for the SchemeServe platform. This will primarily be using React however may also include other front end work from time to time.

The Role 👷

Day to day here's what you can expect:

  • You’ll gain a broad experience of the FreeAgent application allowing you to discover exactly what’s happening behind the scenes when things haven’t gone as planned.
  • You’ll use your software engineering skills to track-down, report and prioritise bug fixes with our development team, and even write your own code to provide those much-needed tools, fix those pesky glitches and speed-up any repetitive tasks for you and your team.
  • You’ll work closely with our first-line support team, other engineering teams, third-party service providers and directly with our customers, to bring every situation under control in a polite and super-helpful manner.
  • You'll help develop the technical knowledge of our first-line support team with ongoing training for the complex parts of our system.
