Job description

We’re building new ways to interact with WordPress. They’re simple, fast, and highly usable. They’re written in the latest web technologies and are used by millions of people. We want your help to expand our reach and keep our approach fresh.

What have we worked on recently?

Gutenberg is a new block-level editor with clean abstractions for users, too, not just developers. Jetpack is a plugin that brings cloud-scale features to self-hosted sites and our latest addition is Rewind, think git for WordPress sites. WooCommerce is the most popular e-commerce platform on the web To view more of our recent work, check out our longer product list on How do we work?

We’re kind to each other and our users – we strive to build a positive, supportive, and inclusive culture of cohesive teams focused on delivering value to our customers. We work as a global and distributed workforce resulting in a unique way of working built around our creed. We offer flexible work arrangements allowing our team members to work when they feel best. We open-source! We’re cool with open-sourcing everything except passwords, or secret keys. We ship often, deploying many times daily with the help of peer code review, continuous integration, and our global workforce in over 70 countries. We welcome collaboration, and you can be involved in any discussion across our many communication channels. The JavaScript Engineer position might be a good fit if you have:

A rock-solid understanding of the core JavaScript language, HTML5, and CSS3. Experience working on accessibility is a plus. Familiarity with a server-side language like PHP, Ruby, or Python. Proficiency developing well-structured web applications using modern JavaScript tools like React and Redux. A real passion for crafting experiences that users rave about. The ability to iterate and ship ideas quickly, with maximum autonomy and teammates ready to support you. Extra credit:

WordPress programming experience. Open source contributions or contributions to programs designed to help underrepresented people enter the tech field. Experience working on accessibility. Data analysis experience, and understanding of how analytics can help with product decisions. Knowledge of tooling and build systems. Speaking of interests and skills, here are some areas in which you can grow and have further impact in the future at the company:

Leadership – we offer a variety of leadership options to those who have interest, including becoming a team lead and managing releases. Learning and development – we have a generous personal development budget and encourage you to grow your skills through courses, books and conferences. Architecture – we encourage developers to develop expertise in the systems they work with, guide their evolution and mentor other developers working on them. Engineering effectiveness – we believe in helping other developers become more effective through tools, practices, cross-team collaborations, and process improvements. Diversity & Inclusion at Automattic

We’re improving diversity in the tech industry. At Automattic, we want people to love their work and show respect and empathy to all. We welcome differences and strive to increase participation from traditionally underrepresented groups. Our D&I committee involves Automatticians across the company and drives grassroots change. For example, this group has helped facilitate private online spaces for affiliated Automatticians to gather and helps run a monthly D&I People Lab series for further learning. Diversity and Inclusion is a priority at Automattic, though our dedication influences far more than just Automatticians: We make our products freely available and translate our products into and offer customer support in numerous languages. We require unconscious bias training for our hiring teams and ensure our products are accessible across different bandwidths and devices. Read more about our dedication to diversity and inclusion.

The production functions are live. The sales is close to going live. The general ledger stuff is still in our legacy system.

A year ago, our front-end employee left us. We haven’t found the right person to replace him yet. We’d rather have nobody than have the wrong person!

Pay depends on...a lot of things! How great are you at Angular? What have you accomplished in the past? How confident do we feel that you can do what we need?

To see who we are and some of the types of things we do, take a look at our websites:,, and And, of course, once we get talking we’ll show you our Angular app.

Job description

(Remote, Full-Time, Anywhere in the World)

We are looking for a skilled and passionate Full Stack Software Engineer to join our Tech Team to build and scale effective software solutions. We are in need of an enthusiastic self-starter with expertise in building highly functional solutions involving multiple systems using the Javascript (Node, Express, React stack).

What We Do

We work with niche companies in the US, Canada, the UK to restructure and automate their operation so that their businesses can grow 5-10x. We do that by effectively analyzing their business, streamlining their processes, and designing an effective automation solution that we then implement on our robust IT stack.

We make extensive use of technologies that help us accomplish results with less work — making everyone inside of our global organization more effective.

We heavily leverage:

Amazon AWS's serverless technologies and microservices for our front-end, back-end, and mobile apps (Lambda, Amplify, Cognito, S3, etc.).

Zoho's CRM and ERP Tools (Desk, Books, etc.).

Vonage/Nexmo-based telephony and communications solutions (Vonage Business Phone, Nexmo Voice/SMS, OpenTalk, etc.).

We are always looking for new technologies and welcome team members adding things to our technology stack so we can deliver more results more effectively.

What You Will Do

As an Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering the solution as per requirements put together by our Creative and Business Analysis Teams. Depending on your level, you will be responsible for either the entire project (with other engineers working in your project team) or for a part of it.

Your ultimate deliverable will be to effectively build a solution that will be implemented in the client's business and run successfully going forward.

In doing so, you will:

Design and architect complex solutions involving web apps (front+back), custom CRM/ERP's, programmable telephony, and occasionally mobile apps.

Deliver and implement your solutions.

Create effective monitoring of the solutions for effective usage and scalability.

Do anything else you deem necessary to accomplish your result.

You are:

Responsible and driven by results.

Genuinely interested in technology.

Willing to learn, grow, and admit mistakes.

Able to communicate with other people on the project's team effectively.

You have:

A solid knowledge of Node.js, React, Express, and TypeScript.

Experience with complex SQL and NoSQL databases.

Experience with APIs to connect complex applications.

Effective written and verbal English to communicate with our international team.

Basic understanding of DevOps and SDLC to cooperate with other developers in building the product.

Will be a good plus:

Experience with Amazon AWS, serverless technologies, and microservices on its platform.

Experience with CRM and ERP systems such as Zoho and others.

What We Offer

Results-Focused Approach to Work

We do not look at people's activities, the number of lines of code written, etc., as the measure of success. We look strictly at the results in effectively delivered products.

Results Based Compensation Schedule

There is base pay and project bonus pay. Base pay varies significantly by the Engineer's level of ability and responsibility (Lead/Associate/Assistant) that the Engineer takes on projects - this level is reassessed after every project that the Engineer completes. Projects upon completion are rewarded with a bonus - bonus depends on the delivery of all requirements assigned to the Engineer, timeliness of delivery, rate of errors, and the amount of management attention needed in the project. Engineers who can deliver functional solutions that match requirements quickly and with little management action to correct errors get the best rewards and promotions in the organization.

Freely Arranged Schedule

You decide when you want to work. What we expect from you are results. There is a daily stand-up call — but outside of it, you can manage your schedule as you prefer.

Work as an Engineer, Not Just a Coder

Our Engineers work to build solutions and not just to write code. You will have freedom in how you want to architect the solutions you are making and we will heavily encourage initiative on your part.

Growth Within Our Organization

We are a dynamic and growing organization with a team spread around multiple continents. If you prove yourself as a responsible, driven and motivated individual, there will be opportunities for you to lead projects and manage tech teams.

Our candidate selection process is designed to assess people strictly by their merit. We do not make you go through a long round of interviews, instead, we follow a straight-forward sequence:

  1. Job Application Form.

  2. Online Skills Assessment.

  3. Interview.

  4. Paid Practical Assignment.

  5. Evaluation and Offer.

PeopleDoc has been growing like crazy during the last 4 years, and hopefully it’s not going to stop! The R&D teams is always in the process of improving our application for our users and supporting the incredible growth of PeopleDoc.

In this role, you will work closely with product owners, UX developers, SRE, DBAs, Support teams, and other web engineers to push forward the implementation of new features while also helping us to scale our platform. As a member of one of our feature teams, you will join a friendly and talented group of python developers, within a dynamic, forward looking company, facing great engineering challenges.

Our stack includes: Python/Django, PostgreSQL, ElasticSearch, Redis, RabbitMQ, Ansible, ember.js, Java/

  • Design, ship and test new features in collaboration with the Product Team
  • Use your deep understanding of web technologies and APIs to advise on the system's architecture
  • Push your code in production, improve our deployment process and monitor it
  • Analyze, rethink and refactor the code to scale the application
  • Write unit, functional and performances tests
  • Contribute to our OpenSource Projects

What you bring to the table:

  • The ability to write tested, production grade Python + Extensive SQL skills
  • A solid understanding of Linux development and automation tools (we use Ansible to manage configuration, and you are expected to deploy your own application and features)
  • Like to learn & share, you are passionate and humble about your skills
  • Excellent communication skills. As a team and “international company” we communicate mostly in English
  • JavaScript experience is a big bonus, we use ember.js, and JavaScript everywhere

What we bring to the table ?

  • A passionate and welcoming team,
  • Team work is in our core values; we learn from each other by pair programming or via extensive code reviews

  • If selected to move forward, you will complete a HackerRank Coding Assessment.
  • If you pass, you will either move forward to a technical phone call for an additional screening, OR directly to an onsite interview.
  • Offer stage.

This isn't a senior role so we don't expect you to know everything already. But we are looking for somebody who is strong on the fundamentals of our development day-to-day. For this position that means:

  • You have a track record of getting things done and should be ready to show us some work you're proud of at interview.
  • You feel at home in PHP 7+ and have experience of applying object-oriented principles to solve problems in an extensible and maintainable way.
  • This is a full stack position so you can complement your back end skills with a good knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript and are happy taking a UI from design to code.

  • You want to work with others, learn from them, teach them new things, and succeed as a team.
  • Talking to clients is something you are comfortable with or happy to learn. We don't have a project management layer so good communication skills are vital.

There is obviously a lot of other technology we use here and hopefully you'd like to learn about some of it. Even better, you might already be up to speed in some areas:

  • MariaDB, or MySQL, or another SQL flavour. We think carefully about queries and designing sensible database schema.
  • Unit testing is something we always encourage but we understand this can be hard to get experience with in some environments. If you've done it, automated it and embedded it into your workflow, you'll fit right in.
  • Our front end stack varies but you will encounter jQuery, CSS preprocessors (we like SASS) and front-end build tools (we like Gulp.js) in your workflow.
  • We are webperf nuts. We hope you are too but if not, expect to learn about how to measure and improve site speed.
  • Our wider stack includes ElasticSearch, NGINX, Redis, AMQP. If these aren't yet old friends, be ready to learn about their powers and idiosyncrasies.
  • We work a lot in eCommerce. It would be great if you have too and can show us some examples of where you've handled the scary end of actually taking people's money.
  • Integrating with APIs is bread and butter for us. Tell us about payment gateways, booking engines, ERPs or anything else you've worked with.
  • Lastly, a whole load of the above happens in Amazon Web Services. If you know your CloudFront from your CloudWatch that'll give you a bit of a head start.

Our company is devoted to doing the best possible work for our clients and maintaining a fun, thriving environment for our team. You will work side by side with top talent to improve your skills and advance the company as a whole. We listen to your ideas and use them.

We offer opportunities for growth and training and the best profit sharing bonus plan in the industry. Up to 50% of all profits are paid out monthly to all full-time employees! Square builds common business tools in unconventional ways so more people can start, run, and grow their businesses. When Square started, it was difficult and expensive (or just plain impossible) for some businesses to take credit cards. Square made credit card payments possible for all by turning a mobile phone into a credit card reader. Since then Square has been building an entire business toolkit of both hardware and software products including Square Capital, Square Terminal, Square Payroll, and more. We’re working to find new and better ways to help businesses succeed on their own terms—and we’re looking for people like you to help shape tomorrow at Square.

Job Description

While Square is best known for the Point of Sale applications that run natively on iOS, Android and Square-branded hardware devices, Square’s mission is that “everyone should be able to participate and thrive in the economy.” This includes merchants for whom it does not make sense to purchase a dedicated device to accept payments. Enter the Virtual Terminal product, owned by the Web Point of Sale team, which allows merchants to take payments through a web interface on the computers they already own and use to run their businesses.

To learn more about the Virtual Terminal product:

As a Frontend Engineer on the team, you will...

  • Add functionality to the Virtual Terminal product to serve and expand its user base in service of Square’s mission;
  • Help improve the web onboarding experience for Square users, ensuring that new users are introduced to the most relevant products for their needs;
  • Work with your fellow engineers to ensure that Square provides a comprehensive and cohesive web-based product to end-users.

Qualifications You have:

  • Excellent software engineering knowledge;
  • A sense of customer empathy and an interest in product direction;
  • Experience with modern JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. Familiarity with at least one popular JS-app framework (Ember.js, React, Vue.js, Angular);
  • Experience testing your code (QUnit, Mocha, Jasmine, Capybara);
  • 2+ years professional experience.

Long-term, full-time employment;

Key Responsibilities:

You’ll be a key part of the D10X team based in NY, but part of a wider global team in New York, Dublin, Singapore, and Shanghai.

Primarily you’ll be rapidly prototyping new products to test important customer features or demonstrate to key stakeholders. This will likely involve a lot of frontend-heavy work, but also a considerable amounts of data manipulation techniques – even some ML where it’s needed.

It’s important to remember that Citi is one of the world’s biggest banks, and we’re regulated. As such, we need to make sure our apps are enterprise-ready, secure and compliant, but lightweight and fit-for-purpose. We’ll help guide you through this if you’ve not done it before.

You’ll be involved throughout the product lifecycle and collaborate closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders to understand our customers’ use cases and challenges, and build products to solve them.

We are looking for software engineers at all levels, from entry to senior/staff level.

What we look for at Ribbon:

  • Passion and drive to simplify healthcare by building products that increase access to care and power every healthcare decision to be high-quality, cost-effective, and convenient
  • Commitment to Ribbon Health company values, working on an exceptional team, and building an exceptional company

What we’re looking for in this role:

  • You have a strong background in Computer Science or other equivalent field
  • You have experience developing full applications from start-to-finish
  • You have experience working with data at scale (e.g., EMR, Hadoop, Spark, HBase, Presto, pushed the limits of Postgres) and designing, building, and managing scalable systems in the cloud (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure)
  • You care about building enterprise-grade systems because you understand how our products meaningfully impact patients downstream
  • You have comfort with AWS cloud technologies and have a track record of learning new technologies and languages on the job

Your day-to-day:

  • Build production-grade API platform: You will design, build, and maintain Ribbon’s core APIs and services, making sure our platform is enterprise-grade across end-user functionality, security, and scalability
  • Build and launch new products: You will work with the product team to design, build, and launch new products and product features. This includes new APIs and front-end applications to extend the reach of our core technology
  • Build data pipelines: You will build data pipelines to bring together thousands of datasets across hundreds of different sources; data engineering is a core part of what we do
  • Build data infrastructure: You will develop infrastructure to support our ETL, analytics and modeling workflows
  • Build internal tools: You will help our internal teams 10x their efforts by developing tools to streamline their workflows (e.g. sales, deployment, recruiting, and product)
  • Evaluate third-party and open source software: You will make decisions about what we build versus buy and where to buy

Software Engineer (Fullstack)

Before the dawn of everything internet, insurance was intimate and personal. You walked down the street to chat with your broker, and the risk to your business, your livelihood, was covered with a handshake. Today things are different. The average insurance policy for a mom-and-pop store trades through a dozen different hands and traverses a maze of systems and processes. Few are accountable and fewer know the whole story.

This is just a taste of the type of big problem we want you to solve. We seek a software engineer to help drive a digital product team on a mission to bring a new type of interaction to a market once exclusively driven by in-person relationships.

As a member of a cross-functional team of engineers, data scientists, designers, and product managers, you’ll provide input and have your voice heard on key product decisions, and the tools and resources to build and ship ideas quickly. You’ll be a part of a startup-like environment in a company with thousands of existing customers.

Who you are

Like Git? Great. Have a favorite data store? Front-end framework? Way of working? Propose it! We believe that a collaborative technology team focused on outcomes is capable of making rational decisions based on system-risk, ramp-up time and ease-of-use. Utility trumps novelty..

Some signs you might be ready:

You’re comfortable with ambiguity and you accept the challenge of figuring it out. You’re more than a coder; you’re someone who knows how to deliver. You want to work with a cross-functional team to design a solution as well as implement it. You put users first and actively seek user feedback. You build to learn. You understand the role of validation and its place in the product development process. You're deeply familiar with at least one programming language and its ecosystem, and you're comfortable learning others. You value repeatability and automation. Automated testing and infrastructure as code are a way of life. You're comfortable reading and debugging code written by others, and you write your own code to allow others to do the same. To that end, you appreciate the value of common standards. You can recognize common code smells, and you know how to address them. You understand design patterns and know when and how to apply them. You view security as a first-class concern. You can recognize common application vulnerabilities, and you know how to remediate them. You look forward to having your work reviewed...and reviewing the work of others. What you’ll own

Proposing tool chains, standards and practices. Write snappy code, from flexible JavaScript libraries to concise, reusable services. Work with the latest open-source projects designed to scale. Build components for products that create market-defining experiences. Creatively figure out how to use customer data to inform decision-making. Work with product managers, designers, and data scientists to translate research findings into features. Tools We Use

While we don't expect you to be an expert in all of our tools, the ideal candidate will be familiar with most on day one. Over your first few months, you'll become comfortable working with nearly all of them.

TypeScript/JavaScript, NodeJS, Python Trunk-based development, CI/CD, and test automation tools React, HTML, CSS REST, GraphQL, gRPC, JSON, Protobuf AWS - IAM, CloudFormation, S3, API Gateway, Lambda, DynamoDB, ECS, VPC Git, GitHub, Jira Confluence, Markdown, UML Basic commands on UNIX and UNIX-like systems We are an Equal Opportunity Employer. We do not discriminate on the basis of age, ancestry, color, gender, gender expression, gender identity, genetic information, marital status, national origin or citizenship (including language use restrictions), denial of family and medical care leave, disability (mental and physical) , including HIV and AIDS, medical condition (including cancer and genetic characteristics), race, religious creed (including religious dress and grooming practices), sex (including pregnancy, child birth, breastfeeding, and medical conditions related to pregnancy, child birth or breastfeeding), sexual orientation, military or veteran status, or other status protected by federal, state and/or local laws.

Applicants: If manually entering, only include your most recent or relevant job information needed for this role. For either method, please attach your most current resume. Additional job history may be obtained if selected for the interview process.

As a founding engineer on the team, you’ll play a critical role shaping and shipping our first product(s), while laying the technical foundations for our long-term aspirations. If you’re excited about making an impact on climate change and being part of a small and scrappy team to get something off the ground, please reach out.

No climate-related experience is required. This team is driven by a passion for the field and the potential of Stripe’s merchants to make a combined impact on the climate problem. We’re advised by academic and industry experts.

We’re looking for someone who has:

  • Experience as a generalist working on both the frontend, backend, and anything it takes to solve problems and delight users both internally and externally
  • The ability to thrive in a collaborative environment involving different stakeholders and subject matter experts
  • Pride in working on projects to successful completion involving a wide variety of technologies and systems
  • The ability to stitch together many different services and processes together even if they have not worked with them before
  • Empathy with their users and be a steward of crafting great experiences
  • Enjoyment in working with a diverse group of people with different expertise
  • Skills for upholding best practices in engineering, security, and design

You’re not expected to have expertise across all of these areas! We have wonderful team members who focus on our customers’ needs and build amazing user experiences, and didn’t work on APIs before joining Stripe

You might work on:

  • Launching brand new products
  • Building user facing features
  • Upholding our high engineering standards and bringing consistency to the many codebases and processes you will encounter
  • Collaborating with stakeholders across the organization such as experts in product, design, infrastructure, and operations

What’s it like to work at Stripe?

Stripe is helping the internet fulfill its potential as a platform for economic progress by building software tools that accelerate global economic access and technological development. Stripe makes it easy to start, run, and scale an internet business from anywhere in the world.

Stripe is, at its heart, an engineering company. To provide a missing pillar of core internet infrastructure, we hire people with a broad set of technical skills (and from a wide variety of backgrounds) who are ready to take on some of the most challenging problems in the industry – from reliably handling 100M API requests per day, to building adaptive machine learning as a result of years of data science and infrastructure work, and enabling entrepreneurs worldwide to start global internet businesses.

We look at Stripe as a constant work in progress and the same is true of our people; for all of us, we believe the best is yet to come. We’re here to support each other in our curiosity and creativity – which we pursue through thoughtful discussion and knowledge sharing among a diverse set of peers and colleagues.

We encourage all engineers to transition teams once every year and a half and also take on short-term projects with other teams across Stripe. This not only enables engineers to learn how different parts of Stripe work, but also establishes stronger ties and cross-pollination between groups. We contribute to existing open-source projects and sponsor the people working on them, and we release several tools as open source.

We want to work in a company of warm, inclusive people who treat their colleagues exceptionally well. The kind of people who are committed to going out of their way to help other Stripes in the short-term and to push them to improve over the long-term (by helping them to get better at what they do). We’re a highly cross-functional organization and view that as part of the fun: we design our space to encourage as much collaboration as possible. We have long tables in the kitchen for a reason (to enable everyone to meet new people and learn from them). We also have a culture of transparency that we carry through to email communication, ensuring that Stripes all around the world have the information they need to make good local decisions.

In both our products and our people, we aim to reflect, represent and advocate for all of our users, globally. Our users transcend geography, culture, and language; what we share, collectively, is a drive to create a fairer, more economically interconnected world.

Banking Platform is crucial in helping Stripe globalize its payout capabilities by building the interfaces that allows users as well internal Stripe teams to move money. As a platform company powering businesses all over the world, Stripe processes payments, runs marketplaces, detects fraud, helps entrepreneurs start an internet business from anywhere in the world, builds world-class developer-friendly APIs, and more. We are currently on an inflection point thinking on how we make the platform 10x better.

The Banking Platform team works to ensure money gets to its destinations safely, reliably and in a cost effective manner. As Stripe expands globally, we realize that we haven’t won yet, and know that successfully being able to take pay out to different countries is crucial to our progress in economic globalization. We’re investing in the Banking Platform team to run the infrastructure that supports a wide variety of bank payouts and payment methods. You’ll help abstract the rails for money and movement while rigorously understanding properties such as speed, cutoff, currency and fees.

We are looking for a candidate with critical thinking, ability to design from first principles and experience on distributed systems; you’re comfortable in dealing with lots of moving pieces; you have exquisite attention to detail; and you’re comfortable learning new technologies and systems.

You will:

  • Design, build, and maintain APIs, services, and systems across Stripe’s engineering teams
  • Debug production issues across services and multiple levels of the stack
  • Work with engineers across the company to build new features at large-scale
  • Improve engineering standards, tooling, and processes

You may be fit for this role if you:

  • Enjoy and have experience building backend infrastructure
  • Think about systems and services and write high quality code. We work mostly in Ruby, with some Scala and Go. However, languages can be learned: we care much more about your general engineering skill than knowledge of a particular language or framework.
  • Hold yourself and others to a high bar when working with production systems
  • Take pride in working on projects to successful completion involving a wide variety of technologies and systems.
  • Thrive in a collaborative environment involving different stakeholders and subject matter experts
  • Enjoy working with a diverse group of people with different expertise (for example, ¼ of Stripes work in a country that’s different from the one they grew up in). Almost every role at Stripe collaborates with some engineers, from Sales and Support in sharing feedback from our customers; to Legal and Accounting in supporting our systems for tracking money movement and reporting around the world.

It’s not expected that any single candidate would have expertise across all of these areas. For instance, we have wonderful team members who are really focused on their customers’ needs and building amazing user experiences, but didn’t work on APIs before joining Stripe.

You might work on:

  • Building a new API for our users, or iterate on existing APIs
  • Launching a new market or payment method
  • Building new tools for our business teams

This job posting is for a role in our Tribeca office in downtown Manhattan.

We are looking for talented backend engineers to join our rapidly growing team in New York. At BlockFi, we are focused on providing financial products - like interest bearing accounts and low-cost credit products - to the blockchain ecosystem.

Who We Need

We’re building out the products and infrastructure that powers our business. Our stack is largely Elixir on the backend, so if you have Elixir or Erlang experience it would be a huge plus. That said, if you are a polyglot developer with a diverse background that includes serious Functional Programming chops, and you're interested in learning you some elixir, then yes, please do apply! Regardless, you've definitely built out complex applications, both by yourself, and as part of a larger team, and have an (obsessive?) desire for maintainability.

What You’ll Do

The product teams at BlockFi encompass UX, UI, Design, and Engineering in a seamless cohesive whole. As part of that product team, you will

  • Own the entire lifecycle for the components that you build, with these components ranging from features through products.
  • Guide and coach your fellow engineers in your areas of expertise, and learn from them in theirs.
  • Write code that - a year from now - you’ll be able to look at and not wonder what on earth you were thinking.
  • Promote Reliability across all aspects of the system, and use the "Continuous Testing" part of CI/CD/CT to its fullest to help get there.
  • Above all, you should enjoy the journey. Our engineers are creative, technical, smart, and genuinely like each other. They enjoy the work they do, and so should you!

So, what will you do as a Full Stack Engineer at Notion?

  • You'll build new product features from start to finish: through conception, research, maintenance, and polish. Think features to improve team collaboration, such as a better commenting experience.
  • You'll build improvements to performance, reliability, and product polish — for example, improving the efficiency and performance of our editor.
  • You'll build and improve processes and internal tools with simplicity and productivity in mind — such as, a tool to sync valuable user feedback with our internal Notion database.

This might be for you if...

  • You've spent meaningful time as a senior engineer or tech lead — or even better, you've managed a team before.
  • Bonus: You're fluent with Typescript, NodeJS, Postgres, Docker.
  • Bonus: You're familiar with the work of computing and science heroes like Ada Lovelace, Douglas Engelbart, Alan Kay, etc. — and understand why we're big fans.
